Nicknamed 'Little England' for its misty air, mock-Tudor cottages, and racecourse, Nuwara Eliya sits at 1,900 metres among endless emerald tea plantations. Horton Plains & World's End

A high-altitude plateau of misty grasslands, cloud forest, and icy streams, Horton Plains National Park culminates at World's End — a sheer 870-metre cliff where the escarpment falls away to the tea country below. The circular trail also passes Baker's Falls and offers rare sightings of sambar deer and endemic bird species.
